Happy Birthday Blog
1 yr. ago today I decided to launch Job|SearchMarketing with this post. 30,000 pageviews, 210 posts, 195 comments, over 3,000/monthly uniques, +8,000 inlinks and almost 3 minutes of average user engagement later...and here we are. The blog has helped to get me a promotion. Thanks Mike. It has helped to build awareness and interest in Yahoo! Recruitment Advertising and it has raised the barrier to competitors' entry into the recruitment media space. The blog has generated some VERY warm sales leads, added value to my clients, and helped close deals. It’s responsible for some great PASSIVE recruitment leads and has connected me with information and people that I value. Looking back, this $130 investment has delivered a pretty respectable return. Thanks blog and thanks to everyone who has linked here, co-authored posts, offered advice and intel and everyone who has participated by commenting. Thanks everyone. Happy birthday blog. |

I haven't seen this much butt kissing since the Queens last visit to Washington.
Good job Matt--bigger and better things to come, i'm sure. You must have an excellent proof reader!
