Google's #1 search term in 2006...'Yahoo'

What do you think was the #1 search term on Google in 2006?

Joel pointed out that Google Trends does not report on the most searched terms as was suggested in the Yahoo Search Marketing blog that I linked to. So, I'm wrong. In the comments on Joel's post, Tim Dineen of ExposureOnline.com pointed out that Joel was wrong. Google Zeitgeist does not report on the most searched terms either. Tim then pointed to a Hitwise report published recently. It reports the most searched terms across all engines in 2006, excluding adult-orientated content. According to Hitwise, ‘Yahoo’ was the #4 searched term. ‘Yahoo.com’ was #7.
