Recruitment Blogs Offer a Link to Organic Search

InlinksSearch engines consider links from other sites to yours to be a testament to the conent of your site. Since search engines like good content, good links aka 'Inlinks,' and 'backlinks,' are good for your organic search strategy. The source of these links is also important. Search engines give more credibility to those links that come from 'trusted' sites.

Here are some tips to help you plan your organic search strategy.

Take advantage of Link Opportunity.
The major job boards are trusted sites for job content. Links from these sites to your career site should help secure more organic searchtraffic. Make sure that you are getting the most out of your job board investment. Put links to your career site on every page that you can(jobs, company profiles, landing pages, email campaigns etc.) Ask your rep to help.

Implementing a Recruitment Blog.
Blogs attract links from other sites. If your employees are blogging and commenting on other blogs they will be generating links from other industry specific sites. Your career site will be more, 'Link Popular.' Search engines will consider your career site to be of higher quality than your competitors. In the end, you gain much desired traffic to your site; capitalizing on the Talent Opportunity and roadblocking your competitors.

Quick and interesting...
The attached pic shows the number of links that I have to my blog in Yahoo!'s index.
